My name is Shannon and I’ve been a Christian since July 2023. It feels like since then, things have been kind of snowballing and not going well or as planned (primarily financially). I wanted to request some help with prayer from other stronger Christians. I often feel that my prayers aren’t strong because I’ve been backsliding a lot even though I try to stop and I know it’s wrong.. I’ve prayed about my situation(s) but I still have this nagging feeling that I’m not good enough or behaving well enough for Him to hear and answer me. I would like to ask for help praying for a financial breakthrough and for me (and my mother, who is not a believer but has been helping me) to both find stable jobs. I’m in a really bad situation where I may lose my home mid-January, and I’m really stressed and scared. I also feel awful because my mother is stressing herself out trying to help me but she just isn’t financially able to. She has a heart condition so I hate being responsible for her having anxiety. It’s not her fault it’s mine so I feel awful seeing this.

Need wisdom knowledge and understanding to create a work and life balance that will actually WORK for me. The Holy Spirit has revealed to me to use my mind/intelligence to help myself. I have made action steps to get back into college with written down goals to complete. The issue is that on the way to earning my degrees, which I call power tools, I am responsible to take care of my food, shelter, clothing, transportation and still fail not to assemble myself in the house of the Lord in a balanced way.

That I would seek The Lord for all of my answers. That I would accept what the Lord says and leave it at that instead of trying so much to be Ms. Fix it. I am exhausted by trying to do so much and do it well. Pray that I take care of my heath 1st in order to take care of myself.
